You can reach Schwaan by car via the L13 coming from Bad Doberan. If you are coming from the A20, take the Schwaan exit onto the L13.

Coming from Güstrow, take the L42 to Schwaan.

Coming from the A19, take the Kavelstorf exit and drive via Klingendorf/Wiendorf onto the L13 to Schwaan.
