"Art"

Serge bought an oil painting for a considerable sum of money: 1.60 x 1.20 m all in white. More precisely: white with white stripes. Marc is horrified and doubts his friend's artistic and common sense. Yvan is now the third person to take a clear stance, but unfortunately he doesn't want to offend either of them. The goodwill that Yvan shows both Serge and Marc further fuels the conflict. Soon they are no longer arguing about art, but about their long-standing friendship, pent-up disagreements and personal resentment.
French author Yasmina Reza achieved her worldwide breakthrough with her witty social comedy "Art" in 1994 and has been one of the most frequently performed contemporary dramatists ever since.
