ECKstein puppet theater: "Peter and the Wolf"

Musical puppet theater for children aged 3 and over

The fairy tale "Peter and the Wolf" is the best-known and most popular work by composer Sergei Prokofiev for young and old alike. On the one hand, it is the catchy melodies and the musical images of the characters and plots that Prokofiev created, but of course it is also the well-known, enchanting story that captivates his listeners and viewers: the story of the courageous little boy Peter, who lives with his grandfather in rural Russia. When he accidentally leaves the garden gate open one day, the nasty wolf takes the opportunity to devour the duck that has escaped from the garden. But with the help of his little feathered friend, the bird, Peter manages to defeat the terrible wolf.

Since 2010, the mobile puppet theater of graduate puppeteer Raimund Jurack has been presenting itself to a wide audience as ECKstein. The actors are Raimund Jurack and Isa Hupe.
